With the continual rise in house prices in recent years in Devon and Cornwall, Low Cost Home Ownership has often become the only means some single people, young couples and families can enter the property market. The Government has recognised this and has made the opportunity for
low cost home ownership a priority. As well as giving more money to
Housing Associations to provide such housing it has also encouraged
the setting up of Community Interest Companies, such as the Devon and
Cornwall Affordable Housing CIC, to also provide low cost homes on a
not for profit basis. |

Award winning Sunnybanks Homes is a family company who have built 1750 high quality homes in Devon & Cornwall over nearly forty years. The company won 'Best Overall Development' in the Western Morning News 'New Homes Awards 2005' for their Tuckers Brook development in Modbury, in the South Hams. |
