Background Information
New Living, New Homes Award 2005

The Devon and Cornwall Affordable Housing CIC is a regulated not for profit company which forms part of the Sunnybanks Homes group of companies.

Sunnybanks Homes is a multi award winning family company that has built over 1,750 homes in Devon and Cornwall. (Click here for information on its latest developments)

The company won “Best Overall Development” in the New Homes Awards 2006 for its Tuckers Brook development at Modbury in the South Hams. This was a development of 24 homes, six of which were affordable homes for sale on a shared ownership basis to local people.

The affordable homes, all two bedroom apartments, were built to exactly the same design and standards as the rest of the development. The homes were built by Sunnybanks Homes and were delivered in partnership with Affordable Homes UK and South Hams District Council.
